OCIA

The Mission San Diego de Alcalá Parish welcomes all who seek to enrich their life of faith and explore the possibility of becoming a Catholic Christian through a formation process called the “Order of Christian Initiation of Adults.” If you are curious about what Catholics believe and are interested in learning more about the possibility of becoming a member of the Catholic Church, the O.C.I.A. is for you! This process is particularly designed for the following people: adults not yet baptized; adults baptized in another Christian faith tradition; and baptized Catholic adults who have yet to be confirmed and receive the Eucharist for the first time.
